Dear fellow pipers
We'll, I've now recovered from a busy but fantastic weekend at the National Celtic Festival at Portarlington. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Celtic Piping program. It was so successful that I've got entries for next year already!
The next big event coming up is the Bellows-blown Pipes Weekend in Castlemaine (Victoria) on 6-7 October. This inaugural event will include 'Round Robin' sessions to share knowledge and tunes with other pipers, a blackboard concert, and plenty of time to socialise with other pipers in a friendly, relaxed setting. The whole weekend will take place at Berkeley House, including music, meals and accommodation. All this is at a very reasonable cost. There are options if you do not wish to stay at the House, but want to join in the piping activities too.
